Veronica Homer (Colorado River Indian Tribes Regional Partnership Council) Faith Representative Veronica is an enrolled member of the Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT). Her Tribal lineage includes the Shasta and Mohave Tribes. Veronica has many years experience of Federal government service behind her. She retired in 2004 as the Superintendent for the Salt River Pima Maricopa Field Office. Within that position she administered over three Tribes for a ten year period: Salt River Pima-Maricopa Community, Ft. McDowell Yavapai Nation and the Pascua Yaqui Tribe.
She also has many years of collaborative effort in working with Tribal, state, Federal and national organizations. Veronica served multiple terms as an officer on the CRIT Tribal Council. She is very knowledgeable about the local CRIT Community and invests time and effort in creating opportunities in meeting the needs of the community’s children and their families. She believes success can be achieved through grassroots level efforts and sits on many community committees, including the CRIT Methamphetamine Coalition.
She is an active Elder of the Parker Valley Presbyterian Church, promoting healthy lifestyle activities for local children, youth and their families. She has one daughter and is a grandmother to a 3 year old granddaughter preparing to enter Head Start.
